Join GOOD Travel's Debbie Clarke and Josie Major for an online summit to collectively harvest learnings from two seasons of conversations and explorations of regenerative tourism on the GOOD Awaits Podcast.

When Josie Major and I first started The GOOD Awaits podcast in May 2021, our intention was always to offer a platform of collective discovery to

Our borders were closed and we wanted to harness the opportunity the pandemic presented to reflect deeply about tourism’s purpose and potential contributions. We’ve felt enormously privileged to engage with pioneers leading the way in Aotearoa and globally, and we’ve always hoped that by uplifting and amplifying their stories, listeners have been inspired, sometimes challenged, and prompted to think deeper about what a regenerative approach might mean for their life and work.

A podcast is a funny thing. We don’t always know who our listeners are, what you’re thinking, if these stories are resonating, or what questions you might have. Many of you have reached out to connect with us, and some have asked for a way to engage in conversation about these concepts and questions.

So we’re thrilled to announce the GOOD Awaits Season 2 Summit. An opportunity to bring your thoughts, questions, insights, concerns, worries, and curiosity to a collective discussion with other similarly curious people.

At this time of enormous global change and ecological crises, we’re hearing some of the same questions arise:

If these questions resonate with you, whether you’ve been a listener of our podcast or not, we invite you to join us in conversation.

Date: March 28, 2023

Time: 12pm - 2pm

Where: Online - Zoom

When Josie Major and I first started The GOOD Awaits podcast in May 2021, our intention was always to offer a platform of collective discovery to

  • explore what regenerative tourism means
  • prompt discussion around the way tourism is being “reimagined” in Aotearoa New Zealand
  • create a culture of sharing challenges, successes, models, and stories throughout the regenerative tourism journey

Our borders were closed and we wanted to harness the opportunity the pandemic presented to reflect deeply about tourism’s purpose and potential contributions. At this time of enormous global change and ecological crises, we’re hearing some of the same questions arise:

  • What should tourism’s purpose be?
  • How can we be resilient and adapt to the coming changes and disruptions?
  • Are there ways we can work across sectors more and create new business models for tourism?
  • What does all this mean for my business or organisation, and where do we begin?

If these questions resonate with you, whether you’ve been a listener of our podcast or not, we invite you to join us in conversation.
